Ilyah Tobis Obituary

Ilyah Tobis, age 71 passed away peacefully Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Regal Care in Southport. Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Carroll) Tobis, she had been a lifelong area resident. A graduate of Bassick High School, Ilyah worked in the Credit Department for various local banks throughout her career. Survivors include a brother, George C. Tobis and his wife Christine Seethaler of South Glastonbury; two nieces, Melissa Tobis and Kristen Tobis, and several cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 1, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield.
