Barbara (Soderquist) Doughty

Barbara Doughty, age 76, of Fairfield, wife of the late Alfred E. Doughty, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Care Center in Trumbull.  Born in Milford, the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Doxsey) Soderquist, she had been a Fairfield resident for many years.  She was a parishioner for many years of Holy Family Church.  She is survived by several cousins.   In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Sr. Elizabeth Ann Soderquist.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Jeffrey Couture Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield.  Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery.  A special thank you to the staff at St. Joseph’s Center for the care and compassion provided to Barbara during her stay there.  For information or to offer an online condolence please visit www.SpearFuneralHome.com
